Services

Our specialist team provides the latest non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments, supported by advanced technology, including:

  • SCLEROTHERAPY
This consists of administering a solution into the vein, through a very thin needle, making the vein almost invisible. It is non-invasive, painless, taking less than 1 hour. You resume normal life immediately. Results are visible within a very short time.
  • ENDOVENOUS LASER THERAPY (EVLT) & ENDOVENOUS RADIOFREQUENCY (EVRF)
Scar free non-surgical treatments using a LASER/RF fibre that is inserted into the vein. This is followed by the application of energy which heats and closes the veins. This procedure can be done under local anaesthesia and you return home on the same day. You may experience very minimal bruising and tightness that does not affect normal life. Results are visible immediately.
  • ENDOVENOUS SEALING OF VARICOSE VEINS WITH THE VENASEAL CLOSURE SYSTEM
The most advanced and newest treatment option for varicose veins. Treatment with VenaSeal is similar to endovenous ablation with LASER or RF but without the need for heat energy. This is performed in clinic, under local anaesthesia.
  • PELVIC VEIN EMBOLIZATION
This is a highly specialized advanced treatment of varicose veins when they arise from the pelvis and abdomen, usually following pregnancy. This is done under local anesthesia in the Cath lab and the patient can go home on the same day.
  • MICROPHLEBECTOMY
Microphlebectomy is a minor surgical technique under local anesthetic. The veins are removed through discreet punctures that normally do not require stitches. You go home on the same day. Results are visible within short time following the procedure.
  • TRADITIONAL SURGERY FOR VARICOSE VEINS
Surgery may be recommended in some cases when endovenous methods are not suitable.
