  • MB BS, bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology 2002.
  • CCBST: Certificate of Completion of Basic Surgical Training in the UK 2006, accredited by the four Royal Colleges in the UK: England, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Ireland.
  • MRCS parts 1,2 and 3: The membership exam of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 2006.
  • Intercollegiate Board exit exam (end of training) in General and Colorectal Surgery 2012.

Total number of years of surgical training in the UK after the internship is 10 years, from 2003-2013. Four years of basic surgical training and 6 years as a registrar/higher surgical subspecialty training.
