Network Administrator
Job Summary
The Network Engineer is responsible for administering, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise IT network infrastructure and services, including routing, switching, wireless, IP telephony, and voice systems, to ensure maximum availability, security, and performance in alignment with business goals. They lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, security management, and proactive troubleshooting of all network devices and services to support operational needs, while ensuring full compliance with IT governance, quality, and security standards to maintain seamless cross-system compatibility and operational integrity. Furthermore, the role involves developing, tracking, and executing comprehensive test plans, technical documentation, performance analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in network design and implementation.
- Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
- Install and configure computer network equipment.
- Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
- Provide network support to users.
- Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
- Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
- Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
- Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and maintain network users/permissions.
- Deploying, managing and maintaining the Call Manager Servers, Call center /IVR servers, Recording Server, Voice mail servers, Broadcast \Multicast servers, Conference Bridges, Operator Console, Billing server and oracle billing, XML application Servers, and other integration with HIS system to deploy IP phones.
- Preparing reports for any daily activities related to the UC network infrastructure such as installing and configuring wired and wireless IP Phone handsets and other routine activities related to the UC network infrastructure
On-Site Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining hospital infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, medical gas systems, elevators and building management system (BMS).
Education
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, computer science or related fields.
- 1-2 years of professional technical experience in IT technology .
